Certificate II in Kitchen Operations

MTC Australia in collaboration with TAFE SWSi and Employment Services Group have developed a program for clients which will aide their potential career in the hospitality industry.

Clients will develop a range of food preparation and cookery skills and provide them opportunities to gain employment in hospitality roles at restaurants, hotels, catering operations, clubs, pubs and cafes.

This course is suitable for clients from both English and non-English speaking backgrounds including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. This is an introduction to cookery and commercial kitchen operations. It will also improve literacy, learning and numeracy skills while acquiring the necessary practical competencies through the commerical kitchen facilities provided at TAFE.

Entry Requirements:
Students MUST be eligible for the SEE program and have a minimum ACSF kevek if 1.03, 1.04,1.07 and 1.08.

Study Mode:
Face to Face
20 hours per week
Monday - Thursday, 9am -2:45pm

Location:
TAFE SWSi Wetherill Park, The Horsley Drive, Wetherill Park
