Bridging the Digital Divide

SEE Program | February 25, 2016

We are proud to be partnering with Parramatta City Council to deliver the Bridging the Digital Divide program.
This pilot program is designed to help tackle the digital divide that exists in the Parramatta community, and indeed many communities throughout the country. It will be trialled through Parramatta City Library to provide internet access to selected households who can't afford to be connected.
The broadband lending pilot – the first of its kind in Australian libraries - will be implemented through our Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program, with the free internet access to be supplied to low income earners, early school leavers and new immigrants looking to learn new skills and gain employment.
