MTC Australia celebrates Harmony Day through burgers

MTC Australia | March 23, 2015

MTC Australia, in partnership with the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Liverpool City Council, celebrated Harmony Day with a giveaway of over 300 Harmony burgers in Liverpool.
The community event brought together people from all corners of the globe in celebration of unity and togetherness, with residents from diverse cultures sitting down and sharing a meal.

The celebrations also included a meet and greet with Rabbitohs players Rhys Wesser and Frank Puletua, NRL merchandise giveaways, traditional Aboriginal dancing and live music.

Through song, dance and a tasty burger, we all linked up and united as one.
About Harmony Day
Harmony Day is held every year on 21 March to coincide with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
The message of Harmony Day is everyone belongs. It’s a day to celebrate Australia’s diversity – a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home.
This year is the 15th anniversary of Harmony Day.
