BSB30220 – Certificate III in Entrepreneurship and New Business:
This 13-week course is perfect for beginners. You’ll learn how to explore business opportunities, develop a business plan, and gain important skills in customer service, finance, and marketing.Skills Set Training Courses:
For those with some business experience or less time, these shorter courses include key parts of the Certificate III:
- BSBSS00103 New Business Ventures Skill Set (8 weeks)
- BSBSS00102 Micro Business Skill Set (6 weeks)
Business plan development
Creating a business plan is one of the first steps in getting your business off the ground. It’s also an important factor in setting up a business, which is why we offer business plan development coaching where you receive one-on-one support to help you create a viable plan with the right tools and guidance.

Am I eligible if I don't live in the regions you provide Self-Employment Assistance?
No, please visit the Workforce Australia website for information on SEA providers in your region.
Am I eligible if I have already started my business?
Yes, you are eligible if you have an existing business. It’s best to speak to one of our experienced mentors who will assess the viability of the idea.
Can I work part-time and develop my business at the same time?
Yes, as long as the external income is not greater than twice the amount you receive from Self-Employment Assistance. Your part-time job should not interfere with your business development.
Am I eligible if I work full-time?
You can apply for the program while working full-time as you transition to your business.
I previously completed the Self-Employment Assistance Program, can I still apply?
Yes, but if you previously participated in Self-Employment Assistance, you must wait one year before reapplying.
