MTC was established in 1989 in Marrickville by a team of just three. Now we’re a group of 450 dedicated people working at more than 40 locations across NSW and Queensland and every year we support 20,000 people with new skills, confidence and opportunities.

Workplace Based Training

The SEE Program is also designed to help employers, industry associations and unions to develop the Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) skills of their workforce through the delivery of free, customised workplace-based training courses, in turn increasing employee productivity and efficiency, whilst reducing business risk and turnover.

Who is eligible for Skills for Education & Employment (SEE)?

To be eligible for the SEE Program, an individual must be:

aged over 15 years and have left school, and

either be an Australian citizen, or a permanent visa holder, or on a provisional or temporary visa with working rights and eligible for the Adult Migrant English Program, or a Pacific Australian Labour Mobility visa holder, and

 

not enrolled in the Adult Migrant English Program any other Program as advised by the department from time to time

Training Solutions for Employers, Industry Associations and Unions

Under the SEE program, MTC offers fully funded training solutions for employers, industry associations and unions wishing to enhance the LLND skills of their employees.

Our team will work closely with your organisation to identify skill and training gaps, and develop accredited and/or non-accredited, tailored, on-site training for your eligible employees.
