Good News Story

Andrea’s Story

Discover how Andrea Z. regained her confidence and workplace skills through MTC Australia’s SEE Program and Certificate II in Workplace Skills. After seven years out of the workforce, Andrea’s dedication led to securing an admin role at NSW Police. Learn more about her inspiring journey!

Andrea Z. joined MTC Australia through the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program at our Liverpool training centre.
Out of the workforce for seven years, Andrea was lacking confidence and her workplace skills needed an update. Together
with her MTC Australia Trainers, Andrea decided to enrol in MTC’s VET BSB20120 – Certificate II in Workplace Skills.

Andrea was a diligent participant, completing all of her assignments on time and actively contributing in class
discussions. Once the course was finished, Andrea worked with her MTC Trainers to apply for suitable roles until she finally
received an interview offer from NSW Police. Andrea and her Trainers spent time practising her interview approach and
answers and ultimately she was successful in securing an admin role in the Account Department of NSW Police at Parramatta.

“Coming to MTC and undertaking the Certificate II VET class gave me back my confidence, equipped me with skills and was
pivotal in getting my new job!” Andrea said.

Congratulations Andrea, the NSW Police have certainly got an
asset in you! We are so proud, and wish you much success!
