Skills for Education and Employment (SEE)
MTC Australia’s Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program helps you build confidence and improve your language, literacy, numeracy, and digital skills. The program is perfect for those who want to prepare for work or continue their studies, and customised to match your abilities and goals. We focus on creating a supportive community so you feel comfortable and safe while learning.
The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.
How the SEE Program works
When you choose MTC as your SEE Program provider, you get access to FREE training in language, literacy, numeracy, and computer skills. We offer part-time, full-time, and flexible study options to fit your schedule.
Here’s what you’ll learn in the SEE program:
Employability Skills: We assist you with job search techniques, developing strong resumes, and preparing for interviews. Not only that, we help you develop to take on new opportunities in your current employment.
Computer Skills: We offer focused support on digital literacy, teaching you how to use computers, devices and software more effectively.
Language, Literacy and Numeracy: Our classes help you improve your reading, writing, numeracy and oral communication skills, making you more confident and ready for your next steps.
With the SEE program, you’ll gain the essential skills to achieve your goals.
Specialised Courses
We offer a range of courses that you can undertake to further your life and employment goals. From Industry Pathways and Business Courses to Community Access Courses such as preparation for driving tests, Citizenship tests and entering the workforce. You will have different options to suit your needs.

Participant Support
At MTC, we aim to make your learning journey not just educational, but life-changing. Our Support Services are here to help you overcome any barriers you might face.
While you are studying you will have access to our dedicated Participant Support Officers (PSOs). They are focused on ensuring you get the most out of your training by keeping you motivated, helping you find work, and reach your goals.
You’ll start with a 1-on-1 Introductory Session and have 3 hours of PSO sessions throughout your training with us.
Am I eligible for Skills for Education & Employment?
You are eligible if you are:
aged over 15 years and left school.
an Australian citizen, or
a permanent visa holder, or
on a provisional or temporary visa with working rights and eligible for the Adult Migrant English Program, or
a Pacific Australian Labour Mobility visa holder, and
not enrolled in the Adult Migrant English Program or any other Program as advised by the department from time to time.
