MTC was established in 1989 in Marrickville by a team of just three. Now we’re a group of 450 dedicated people working at more than 40 locations across NSW and Queensland and every year we support 20,000 people with new skills, confidence and opportunities.

Do you have an NDIS plan and need support to prepare for and find work?

At MTC Australia, we believe training, searching for work and finding sustainable employment are all important parts of an ordinary life. If you want to, you should be able to find a job, build a career and feel positive about your future.

It can be harder for people with a disability to find and keep suitable, sustainable employment. MTC is here to support you though increasing your skills and experience, coach you through job applications and interviews and overcome any barriers that may holding you back from your new job.

How MTC’s NDIS Employment Supports can help you

If you have an NDIS plan and you are aged between 16 and 67 years old, here are some of the ways we can support you:

NDIS Employment Support

People aged 16 – 67 years

  • Job customisation.
  • On-the-job training and intermittent support with daily work tasks.
  • Support to manage disability-related behaviour or complex needs at work.
  • Direct supervision/support to enable meaningful participation at work.

Youth Employment Assistance (formerly SLES)

People aged 16 – 26 years

  • Personalised employment plan with resume writing and interview skills.
  • Support to overcome barriers to employment.
  • Life skills, including time management and travelling on public transport.
  • Job-specific skills such as workplace behaviour, resilience, money-handling, and electronic communication.
