Am I eligible for NDIS Employment Support?
MTC’s NDIS Employment Support can help you if you have a current NDIS plan. To be eligible for NDIS Employment Support, you must:
have a diagnosed permanent disability, injury, or health condition
have a current National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan
be aged 16-67 years
How MTC’s NDIS Employment Support can help you
If you have an NDIS plan and you are aged between 16 – 67 years old, here are some of the ways we can support you:
NDIS Employment Support
People aged 16 – 67 years
- Job customisation.
- On-the-job training and intermittent support with daily work tasks.
- Support to manage disability-related behaviour or complex needs at work.
- Direct supervision/support to enable meaningful participation at work.
Youth Employment Assistance (formerly SLES)
People aged 16 – 26 years
- Personalised employment plan with resume writing and interview skills.
- Support to overcome barriers to employment.
- Life skills, including time management and travelling on public transport.
- Job-specific skills such as workplace behaviour, resilience, money-handling, and electronic communication.

What is a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Plan?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government funded scheme that provides funding to eligible people with a disability to gain greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.
A National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan outlines your goals, aspirations and supports you require to overcome any barriers to independence. Your National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan gives you access to funding that can be used to fund services that help you on your way to employment, like Youth Employment Assistance.
